Product Tips and Safety
How can I get the best enjoyment from my Aurora Candles?
- Carefully peel away labels and packaging from your candle
before burning,
- Make sure you trim the wick to 0.5cm (quarter of an inch)
before you start the first burn,
- Avoid placing your candle near drafts if possible. If
you can't, periodically rotate the candle,
- Never leave the candle in direct heat or sun as the candle
colour will fade and distort the shape of the candle,
- Always store candles in a cool, dry and dark place i.e.
pantry, wardrobe or laundry cupboard,
- Always burn your pillar candles for no more than 3 to
4 hours at any one time. This helps to maintain a good melt
pool and prolong the fragrance within the candle wax,
- Never move or tilt a burning candle as hot wax can cause
severe burns,
- Always use a candle accessory when burning your candle
as candles can create a lot of heat and may scorch or mark
the bench top or table,
- Keep candles away from children and pets,
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
